I was a B student in high school andAug 28 2004Education
I was a B student in high school and i had no motivation. I was pretty much a procrastinator in high school. But I did do various sports (football and lacrosse) and lots of volunteer work (Boy scouts).

I aced my SATS, but like others said, you can get in with high 1200s SATs to have a fair shot at this college, but high 1300s will get you in.

Take 3 SAT IIs (writing, math, science), scored above 690 on each of them.

If you're a good student, and want a good education come here.
ACT: 35 SAT: 1600 Female

Study hard in high school, visit the campus, tryAug 27 2004Electrical Engineering
study hard in high school, visit the campus, try to sound interested in the school, and really dedicate yourself in high school.

If you want to get into this school, you have a competitve chance if you grades are above 3.7, sats are above 1250, sat iis above 650, act above 29.

This school is equivalent to some say Boston College.
ACT: 34 SAT: 1600 Female

Score high on sats, sat iis, good gpas, lotsAug 27 2004Biology
Score high on sats, sat iis, good gpas, lots ofactivities, same old same old.

also get excellent essay, and teacher recs.

admissions love prospective students who are itnerested in the campus (VISIT them, call them, request info, etc)
ACT: 34 SAT: 1600 Male

Scored well on sats/iis/ACTsAug 27 2004Philosophy
Scored well on sats/iis/ACTs.

Make sure you appear interested in Geneseo by calling them, visiting their campus (visit admissions), talk to the teachers etc.

Make sure you have a couple of activities/sports to put under your belt.

If you're over a 90 average, don't forget you might be national honor's society.

You have to sell yourself, even if you did a job throughout the school year, TELL THEM THAT!

Geneseo is easy to get into though
ACT: 35 SAT: 1600 Female

Decent GPA (3Aug 27 2004History/Histories (art history/etc.)
Decent GPA (3.6), excellent SAT scores, SAT II scores, SAT I scores above the national average. Try to shoot anywhere above the 1300 range and you're a shoe-in.

Did volunteer work/local pet shelter/hospital, key club, tennis, basketball, running.

Nothing too intense.

I paid about 9k each year (back in '98 tuition and board was much cheaper)
ACT: 35 SAT: 1600 Female
